How to: Write Team Member Profiles Which Draw Customers In

You'll have heard it 10 times if you've heard it once, your people are your greatest asset. We would also say they're your greatest sales asset.

So it makes sense that your Manufacturing Network business profile has a section all about selling your team and their capability.

What should I include in a team member profile?

The profile is built for flexibility, with the only standard information being;

  1. Name
  2. Phone number
  3. Email Address
  4. Linkedin profile link
  5. Profile Image

In addition to the above you have a notes section, where you can talk directly to your customers. You can choose to list some key capabilities, or expose a softer side of your team. It's completely up to you!

The intention here is not to repeat a well written LinkedIn profile, that's what the link to their profile is for!

Think about what your customers want to know. Who should they talk to about specific queries? Who will they work with if they place work with you and what experience do they have? Maybe you can even get some feedback from existing customers, telling their stories of great experiences.

Final Tips

The choice really is up to you, but follow rule number 1: Think about what the customer wants, valuable information, not filler!
